all reviews » We booked our reservation at 109 Warwick House but got the room at 60Warwick House which was the same property. We didn't have a problem withthat. The hotel was very convenient, near a tube station and a 24hrTesco store. Though the room was small, the bed was comfortable and weliked the bathroom and kitchenette, both inside the room - veryconvenient. Very convenient location, with easy access to the Tube. Appartment 14 had a big shower cubicle, The room was more compact that I expected, but very functional. Provided the price remains compettitive, I would stay here again,. Kitchenette was complete whit everything what I needed. Studio it's a good idea, who does not like spent to much money for a breakfast. That's it. Thank you. wud hav been really nice to hav a breakfast facility at the place along w the kitchenette in the room itself!. Some desk personnel tried really hard to fix problems. The cabin showers was not very clean.When we arrived the door was locked and there was no one at the frontdesk. Finally we found guest that told us we had to check in across thestreet at 60 Warwick. While the girl was nice at the reception shecould not get the key cards to work, check in was slow and we stayed at60 not 109. no elevator. room was very small and kitchenette was situated so it was hard to use.Confusion regarding payment. Staff did not appear to know their own procedures for charging for the room. The room is rather small.The carpeting and beds.. the room was clean but not exactly new. the shower was clean when we got there, but the drains in the sink or shower didn't work, leaving a big mess after each shower.The priceline site said I had paid and the hotel said I had not. This is confusing. The hotel needs a facelift but again excellent value. could do with a bit of re-decorating. the toilet is so smelly. The room was quite cold, only one blanket. Cost of leaving bag for day was 10pounds - bit steep for a budget hotel, when i have paid only 50p at a similarly priced hotel.Spring mattress - it is realy poorly. We did not have a key for our room so had to wait every time for someone to open it for us- frustraiting. Rooms very average. I reserved a twin room but they gave us a "double bed room". But actually it is a very small room with a small double bed (almost single bed). Fridge was not available in this room.Everything was broken in a room (toilet,light,hanger,no hot water ). I am not so happy about the cleaning, specially in the bathroom.I booked a double, they put me in a very poor condition twin. the next day they offered me a double in another building, it was in an even worse condition. Electrical fittings hanging off walls.bathroom was small and it smells, the room didn't open with the card that they gave us and every time receptionist was coming to open us.. the hair drayer wasn' working.. many other bad things... what can i say.. they need to repair it from the begining.... Very ugly dirty stinking room and toilet, with very dirty carpet. Notworking sockets and telephone. The room seemed to have not been cleanedfor ages. I willnever stay in this hotel or recommend it to my friends.Rude receptionists. Crossing the street for front door key. Half the lights don't work. Odd,damaged furniture.No tv arial. Room is as wide as double bed: you have to climb in from the foot end (and climb on it to reach phone). Net curtain is a foot too short. Curtain is attached with safety pins. 9 inches between wash basin and wall to get into shower, where mould is growing! Worst hotel ever!. I hated every moment I was there. It was dirty,smelly. The size of theroom was 2m x 4m this was a double room. I slept on the floor as it wasmore comfortable than the very old lumpy bed. The room was also verytatty. The en suite was smaller than a cupboard and the shower justtrickled, no plugs in the wash basin sink or shower. The toilet wasblack in the bottom and smelt awful.I arrived at the hotel at 11pm only to be told that the single on-suite room I had booked was not available and that I should spend the first night in a 'basic single' with no toilet, no shower, no washbasin and no TV with musty dog-blankets on the bed. Facilities shabby and tiny.
