Central to where I needed to be, and central to shops and restaurants,staff very helpful. Would return to Llandudno for a holiday local people I met were very friendly and helpful to visitors. excellent friendly staff and management,very good breakfasts,very clean,good facilities,restful and peaceful, ongoing improvements. all reviews » convenience ; meeting family staying in a nearby apartment. easy reach from Dublin by ferry and train from Hollyhood. The location was excellent and hotel easily found. Staff helpful. Breakfast good selection. Value for money. traditional hotel with a good quality on suite shower/toilet . helpful staff and proper english breakfast . Nothing disliked. Nothing not to like!!!. The letsbookhotel.com booking said that the hotel has fantastic views. We were in Room 19 and the only way we could get any views at all was to stand on a bed. no lift and multiple levels so you need to be able to manage stairs ( but 92 year old mother managed ). The price. I thought it was over-priced. Would have been ideal at half of the price. Work was being carried out on our floor, and there were dust sheets on the carpet & up our stairs, which could have been dangerous. nothing. noise of the others bedrooms. The signal of the Wi-Fi is very poor in the bedroom. In the reception is OK. There's quite a lot of stairs to climb and it's very dated inside!. a bit disappointing. we were supposed to have a room with sea view on lower level and didn't get it. Hotel is quite run down but is currently undergoing some refurbshment. Our room 7 was shabby very dated new covers and curtains needed could not get drink in evening,bar was closed.tiles on bathroom floor some of them were loose needs refurbishment. The room was on the top floor, spacious enough but the shower couldn't regulate the temp. There was no fire alarm in the room or a phone, should there have been a fire. Very tired standard of decoration. Half an hour spent getting the TV and set-top box to work properly. Average breakfast, not sure bet felt there might be better quality hotels for the same price in the same location. the fact the hotel caught fire all our clothes were smoke and water damaged and there not prepared to pay any compensation he said he spent £80,000 on doing it up the decor was very shabby and they dont actually have a fire exit except for the front door. Condition of rooms very below standard.
