There was a lovely warm welcome on arrival, and the staff were very welcoming. It was in an ideal location, 2 minute walk to the town centre, and 15 minute walk to the venue at the end of the promenade. The room was perfect for what we paid for.

The parking in the area was awful, all road side parking, had to park up a big hill and did not see my car all weekend! The bathroom had loose tiles, and the shower only had a dizzly molten lava setting. The bed was also slightly crunchy!

the location was very nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful

the room didnt quite look as in the picture and some of the items in the room such as kettle didnt work, and cuboards and chest of draws were not very clean and tidy. the bedding wasnt really adiquate.

Bedroom carpet was threadbare. Toilet had not been cleaned. Window would not open (warmest night of 2008 so far!). 2 of the 3 lamps did not work. Downstairs room-heard every step, word and tv from upstairs.

We booked two rooms for a one night stay. It is difficult to describe each room without being extremely negative. One of the rooms was dreadful. The sliding door to the shower rooms had no bottom runner. This meant that when sitting on the toilet there was little privacy as you could see into the bedroom. The shower had a trickle of water for two seconds and then deposited a black substance,

no parking, rooms were dirty and staff were not helpful. they also take down and keep all your credit card info, including the security number on the back - I have canceled my card since I returned.
