Liverpool Gay Friendly Hotels

Loved the Hope Street Hotel. Having stayed in boutique hotels around the world, this one hits all the right notes. The whole place oozes understated sophistication whilst being comfortable and ambient. The reception team were a delight - nothing was too much trouble and they were very knowledgeable about what to do/see/eat while we were there. The London Carriage Works restaurant was just divine. Just got back from a 1 night stay at the Staybridge Suites and it was spot on, no complaints at all. The staff were friendly and welcoming, our room had everything and more and spotlessly clean. The parking is limited with around 40 spaces, but there is a multi-story carpark right next door. The breakfast was tasty and there was enough variety to suit everyones tastes. This Hotel is perfect for anyone looking for a close location to The Echo Arena, it's right next door!, also ideal for shopping - Chris

I was shocked to find this GEM in England........it was perfection food rooms clean nice folks......we wer so happy we stayed at the same hotel in London and Henley on Thames........ - Roger

I loved this place. It is one of the best places that I have stayed in. The rooms are clean, stylish, huge and fully equipped. The mini bar is very reasonably priced -champagne for £35. One does feel privileged to be staying there. At £69 it is a bargain. Other places will charge more and have a outdated or functional look. The old cargo lift just adds more character to the place. The 1st time we stayed at this hotel we booked business class which i can highly recommend the room was gorgeous with fantastic views of the docks a giant king size bed and a heated bathroom floor. The 2nd time we had a standard room which had no view and was dull and dated. The buffet breakfast was great but better still was room service breakfast as you got loads of variety. The hotel is within walking distance of all attractions. Would defo stay again as long as its business class. - Henry

Great Weekend, Myself & 4 friends went to Liverpool to celebrate her 21st Birthday, The apartment was just what we wanted for the stay, Accommodation had plenty of space for 5 girls getting ready for a night out. Only a short taxi ride to all the bars and clubs. We took 2 cars with us that were very safe in the car park provided. Big Thanks to the lady who took our booking at the Apartments, she was very friendly and helped us organise everything that we needed.Very pleased ove - Darren

we were booked into hotel on sat 19 till 21 sept and when we arrived our rooms had been cancelled!Unfortunatley we had been scamed by a booking web site which we are in the process of sorting out> I have to say staff could not have been more helpfull they found us alternative accomodation for sat night and the manager Andy brought us to our new hotel in his car,which was beyond the call of duty.Ok the rooms are not 5 star luxury but the staff the bar and the food are!!! we would recommend thi - Steve

We stayed here for two nights. The room, whilst not swelteringly hot, was a little uncomfortable for heat and there was an annoying blue light - presumably as a guide light for emergencies - which was far too bright and could not be turned off. We had to cover it over with some folded papers and tape to get any sleep. There was nothing we found particularly claustrophobic about not having windows in there, but the room itself was a little too small to adequately meet its current purpose. Our dou - Adrian

I stayed one night at this hotel and was highly impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the pancakes for breakfast. However, these two positives were let down by no hot water in my room (sink, shower or bath) which resulted in a cold shave and shower added to worn out decor/fixtures and fittings in the room. The hotel has a lovely wash of light on the front of the building at night which makes it look appealing, however, the curtains don't cover all of the window so I had to sleep with - Carol

This hotel is a great place to stay (as long as you can cope with stairs). The lovely old building is spread over several floors with narrow staicases and unfortunately there isn't a lift. Our room was immaculately clean, with luxurious bedding and feather pillows. The power shower massaged away the day and the towels were soft.. The hospitality tray offered plentiful supplies of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and three types of biscuits. The famous "all you can eat" breakfast delivered on - Martin

I would just like to thanks everyone at the hostel. I went at the weekend for my hen nite, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were perfect and a good price for what we wanted, and I would recommend this to anyone - Junus

The view was absolutly amazing especially from the 6th floor, the apartment was clean and equipted with evrything that was needed to feel at home, it was also close to city centre and nearby resturants. - Anonymous
