Liverpool 2* star Hotels

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful - despite being very busy both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The standard of cleanliness, especially in the the bathroom was very high. The only complaint being that some people during the night were a bit exuberant in the corridors - but that is not the fault of the hotel merely thoughtless customers. - Elizabeth

We stayed Friday & Saturday night (3 couples in our fifties) . The location is great. We had rooms overlooking the water which was nice. The rooms are adequate and clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from and well worth the £7.95 . The hotel is basic but good value for money. The staff are lovely and very helpful. If ever we go back to Liverpool (and I hope we do) we will definitely choose this hotel again. - Roger

The view was absolutly amazing especially from the 6th floor, the apartment was clean and equipted with evrything that was needed to feel at home, it was also close to city centre and nearby resturants. - Anonymous

I have had three recent stays at the Lord Nelson Hotel and they were very enjoyable. I found both the staff and the manager to be friendly,polite and helpful.Both the rooms I stayed in were clean and tidy. The continental breakfast was good too.The hotel is only a five minute walk from the coach station and is situated opposite the railway station. If you should need a taxi there is a taxi rank outside the railway station which I found very convenient.It only takes seven minutes to the city cen - Kevin
