Despite only staying overnight didnt really have a chance to see what was available but overall a very enjoyable stay at a reasonable cost. Food was excellent,leisure facilities were excellent,the staff were very friendly and helpful and overall very relaxing hotel.The hotel was very clean and welcoming and the room had all the facilities I needed at a very good price. Very good facilities, excellent staff, overall a very good experience.
all reviews » easy to find, excellent facilities i.e. swimming pool ets. Lovely breakfast and swimming pool. large room very good breakfast did not use facilities but they looked exelant. I was disappointed that the Hotel was a 10 min drive to Lincoln and probably would not have booked if I had known about it beforehand. Everything and the pool was like a warm bath. The breakfast was not to my likeing I do not like buffet style foodwhich has been pre-cooked and left under lights plus the toast was justhot bread the last best western I stayed in the food was cooked fresh. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise from the people in a nearby room which disturbed us - not something that would happen normally we suspect.Shower curtains not long enough, caused flooding to bathroom floor attap end. Hot water was not hot enough. Didn't have the best start as the never got your Confirmation. Purely as a point of constructive feedback the catering could improve. My starter of grilled prawns was dry and tepid and serving boiled root vegetables with what was an excellent peice of Ribeye was dissappointing. Some of the bedroom furniture appeared stained. Room service food was missing certain items from each meal compared to the description on the menu. queueing for breakfast. Room too near road. Constant stream of traffic causing noise all night long. There was no access to the internet and so my emails for the duration of my stay. This was a major detractor. On checking in just before 2pm I asked whether snacks were available. I was told that yes snacks were available in the bar until 6.30pm So I checked into my room then went to the bar to be told that they stopped serving snacks apart from sandwiches at 2pm.Was not over enthusiastic with only having a shower due to this being a room for the disabled. Bed, felt and looked like it had been in since hotel built, smell in room old and musty.found the bed uncomfortable -hard and creaked with every movement!.
