One of the most peaceful hotels we have ever stayed in, set in rural North Yorkshire on the edge of the North York Moors, with a large and quiet garden. Peaceful and quiet.
Location wonderful - could walk out onto Rosedale Moor, very convenient.
The visit to Lastingham Church and famous crypt was superb.

The location was excellent for a country break. Room had a balcony andit was lovely to have a pre dinner drink in beautiful location. - Excellent food. Attentive staff. Unpretentiousness of the hotel.
