Great location in central York, also one of the only hotels that allow one-night only booknigs. The rooms were lovely, great bathrooms all newly refurbished and airy. ... what people say » ain. - This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel 53. Its location is excellent, close to all the local amenities and attractions. The hotel staff are extremely helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The food is very good and I would really recommend this hotel.

I loved everything about the hotel. Every member of staff was reallyhelpful and quite lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The bookingout time of 12 noon was realistic and breakfast between 7 and 11 wascertainly more civilised than some hotels. I would certainly staythere again. - Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and modern rooms
