  Clifton House Hotel is a beautiful renovated Georgian building with stylish rooms and spotless modern ensuite facilities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious, - full English cooked freshly to order and a wide range of items from the buffet. The room rates are very reasonable and there is the added advantage... what people say » of free parking on site. The location is excellent, with the harbour-side, major attractions and shopping all within comfortable walking distance. Th - Although the room was small for 2 friends sharing i think it would have been perfectly sized for a weekend break for a couple. The breakfast was lovely, with lots of choices available, although a longer time period for breakfast would have been better. The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated, and the location was great for both a day at the shops and a night on the town! I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

  The location - just 10 min walk into the heart of the city (and the new Cabot Circus shopping center which my wife and daughter both loved)! The hotel staff were all very friendly and very efficient and gave excellent and professional customer service at all times. Although the bathroom was quite small - the actual bedroom was quite spacious and th... what people say » e bed very comfy! - We only stayed one night but the room was as we expected and only a short walk from pubs and resturants, staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a drink in the hotel bar. The breakfast was great, big selection.
