Mo at the reception is a really nice guy. We arrived early and he still made sure our room was available for us ASAP. We had a double room which was very nice and clean. The hostel had a lift which was amazing after spending a lot of time lugging bags up many flights of stairs.

The staff was incrediblly nice, everyone was very helpful and polite. There are bus stops in front of the building, the Rotherhithe underground station less than 10 minutes away, it's located in a residential zone so it's a very quiet and safe place. I had previously read a review that said it was scary to walk from the underground station to the hostel, but let me tell you even though it's mostly a desserted area at the late hours of night, it's very safe, so don't worry about that. The staff was very polite and helpful. The view was really nice. The food in the restaurant was quite good. We really enjoied our stay there. - When we arrived the hotel, they offered an upgrade of a room with breakfast. Swimming pool with steam sauna was wonderful as well.

On arrival they said they had reduced the rate by £5.00 per night as the shower was not working properly, usually you have to complain first. Staff were friendly and room was clean and tidy. Overall this was a good value for money, Budget-friendly Hotel. -

Highly recommend. Possibly one of the best hotels we have stayed in; simply couldn't fault anything. The staff were extremely friendly, went out their way and made us feel so welcome. The rooms were clean; fresh, clean towels everyday and beds made up. Everything we needed: Bar, restaurant, TV... Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and well organised. Excellent location, close to the station and a short walk into Greenwich High street and the Greenwich Park. Easy commute into the City
