  I'd never stayed at The Athenaeum before but I will be back. Although I booked a standard double at a very deep discounted rate (typically this means getting the box room next to the staff quarters), I was given an apartment room which was really a suite.   We loved the size of the rooms and the fact that it was a suite set up, as this made it easy for our young son to go to bed before us.
