Great 5 room BandB. Great breakfast, friendly owners, nice, spacious room with a new confortable bed. Easy 10-15 minute walk from the railway station. We were given a key code to get in as we were arriving when Heidi was out, it was a simple and no fuss system, we were able to put our bags in and go and explore York. We really enjoyed our stay at the Ashbourne House. The room was fantastic and very inviting. The breakfast was very good and included many choices. Also, they provided us with a babycot and a highchair. There was a variety of complimentary teas and coffee in the room along with a clean water pitcher and cups. Also, we really liked its location

There was an excellent selection for breakfast. The hotel was within walking distance of the city and not too far from other attractions. loved the location, it really was a 10 minute walk down the river. We were three adults so the triple room was really good for us, it was clean, comfortable and quiet (we at a room at the back). Landlady was welcoming, helpful and informative and let me leave my car there till we left on the evening after we had checked out, Breakfast was good too. Good value for money.
