There is also a fantastic cocktail bar and restaurant on site and amazing views. - City inn was absolutely brilliant. Clean and spacious,the room even had a Thames view. There was a computer in the room and broadband was free. I wish I had known about the complimentary tea/coffee/cakes which were out of view in a cupbord in the room and I only found out later when booking out.

Buffet breakfast adequate with provision for hot food at additional cost. We flew out in the evening but were able to leave luggage at the Hotel after check out at no additional cost. Hotel under renovations and road closed but it was never less good. An explanation of air conditioning would have been helpful. We saw 28 heat and thought it was ON so we were cold for a day. First time in 40 years of ANY hotel we we charged to store our luggage for a few hours--and also charged £10 an hours overstay when we requested late stay provided hotel not full. Our plane took off 6pm. Not a way to keep customers. On principle I would prefer to pay £25 more at the Radisson 4 stars nearby

This is my second stay in this hotel and we got the highest floor instead of the basement which is a good start. Quite near to lancaster gate st, so it's easy for us to access the tube. Good value for money! Most of the staff were friendly and helped us with what we needed. Breakfast was better than expected, no gourmet but the basic Brit bacon, eggs, beans & toast. Extra thanks for the very swift repairment of the leaking tap in our room! 24-h reception was good! If you're looking for a nice little budget room where you go to sleep and spend the rest of the time exploring London I can strongly recommend this hotel!

The location is very strategic and highly accessible to anywhere, everywhere via the Underground Tube which is about 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. There are also couple of restaurants between the tube and the hotel which we could catch a bite or have our meals while on the way back to the hotel. The hotel room is cosy and clean. Breakfast was good with a fairly reasonable spread of food. The staffs were great and makes me feel at ease, as if I was at home. Highly recommended :)
