The Dene Guest House was the perfect choice. Not only I was provided with a clean, spacious and beautifully designed en-suite bedroom with great views but I had as well the valuable help of Ilio and Hamish in every possible aspect (from giving advice on how to spend leisure time to pointing me in the right direction whilst I was looking for a job ... what people say » in the city). Perfect location, close to centre of town. Received a very warm welcome, lovely people running the bed and breakfast in a relaxed, efficient way, they couldn`t have been more helpful. Bob was a great host. Explained how to get to Oldtown upon arrival as well as directing us to a great waterfront restaurant. He also called a cab for us. Although we were on the 3rd floor our luggage was in our room upon arrival. The B&B was spotless and very nice! -

St. Bernard's House is situated in a lovely part of Edinburgh, surrounded by beautiful Georgian architecture, with plenty of little shops, pubs & places to eat etc. round the corner. We were more than happy with our stay and the couple who run the guest house were friendly and very helpful. We hope to return at some point and discover more about the local area and Edinburgh itself.

cookies as well as chocolates were in the room every day. The soaps and
shampoo were ample and well stocked. The bed, couch and chairs were

Very comfortable and homely and efficiently run with very friendly and helpful staff. Very nicely decorated and well serviced rooms. A very beautiful residence with generours sized rooms and a beautiful outlook across Moray Place and the park. The breakfast was excellent every day, served in a beautiful Georgian drawing room. We made good friends at A Georgian Residence.
