The staff was helpful. The restaurant was good. It's in a nice location. Though it's outside of the city centre it was right across the street from a shopping center so that was very convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Booked us a taxi when asked. We ate our evening meal at the hotel and the food was good value for money and excellent portion sizes. The rooms were large, tidy and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and outgoing, which is a rarity nowadays in hotels with this star rating, it was more in keeping with a more expensive hotel or a higher star rating. We arrived on sunday, and left on wednesday. Room was very nice and clean. It was cleaned every day. Hotel staff was very friendly. We slept very good (no loud noises or anything). Location is very good. Very close to Manchester piccadily train station and close to the Apollo (where we went to see Alter Bridge on sunday) and close to the MEN arena ... what people say » (where we went to WWE on monday and tuesday). - When we first walked into the Hotel It was very impressive and the staff were very friendly and helpful, The room was clean and had what we needed.The breakfast was second to none . It was a magnificent and beautiful Reception. The Receptionist was lovely and attended to every need. Then we got to the room and it surpassed all expectations. I've stayed in hotels in Manchester for 20 odd years now and this hotel is the best.
