    We liked everything about this hotel. The reception staff were organised, friendly, welcoming and efficient. Our room was ready by 12 noon, was spotlessly clean and well equipped with huge bath sheets, ample toiletries, gowns and slippers. We had complementary sparkling water, orange juice and chocolate.     The hotel was clean, staff friendly. The only thing was the reception at the hotel is small, when we arrived a large party(around 20) was checking in, so we had quite a time to wait to check in. There also was only one lift working at this time so everything was slow.     The hotel was in a great location, we stayed there not only for that, but also because it looked great for the money. We weren't wrong, the facilities are excellent, staff very helpful, and the room we had was exceptional, much better than your boring Premier Inn. I cannot fault this place if it is a touch more dearer than some other hotels you will only regret not paying to stay here

    The hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk from New Street Station and is ideally located near to Broad Street, Gas Street, The Mailbox , New Street and The Basin. We stayed in a Queen Club room. The bathroom was very modern and the shower ha - The staff couldn't help you enough,. Hand on heart the best hotel I have stayed at for a long time. I stayed in the queens room, which I got on letsbookhotel.com at a cheap rate ( just like the ad, ha ha but true) . With the queens room the continental breakfast was free, fresh and in the executive room. Which was calm cool and quiet. I hear the full cooked breakfast was £25 pounds, but I was happy with the range of fresh bread , ham on the bone, cheese, and all the bits you would expect.

    Check in is electronic, and the staff not only helped us do the computer work, but also allowed us to drop our bags early, and tagged them so they couldn't be taken by anyone but us. Breakfast was free for our kids since we had paid for ours. It was fresh and appetizing, constantly refreshed by the kitchen. The room was smaller with a Queen, a twin and a twin cot set up, but it was close to everything and had all modern ameniti - This hotel is right in the centre of Birmingham so location is great. The staff were very helpful with giving tips for best overnight parking. Check in was very easy and quick. The room was a decent size and very clean, a typical Premier Inn room. The bed was very comfortable (firm, which we like) and we had a peaceful nights sleep, in fact we didn't hear anything at all. Shower was really hot and powerful. Definitely stay again.

    We stayed there 5 years ago and decided to stay again as it was such a convenient and friendly venue. We went out for a celebration dinner on Friday evening and I happened to mention that it was our 53rd wedding anniversary. When we returned around 11:15pm, the was an envelope on the bed with a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary from all the staf... what people say » f at Canal Side. We were amazed and absolutely delighted. We've travelled all over the world and wouldn't have expected that kindness even from a 5 st - My mum and i stayed at this Premier inn as we were going to see Bon Jovi at Aston Villa FC, we really liked seeing the banners of Bon Jovi on arrival. The receptionist was very helpful and booked a taxi to the venue. I have to say i would stay with them again and all the people in Birmingham were very pleasant and helpful.

They handled the situation very quickly and were able to make a new booking at the price we had originally booked. The rooms were very clean and we had an excellent view over Birmingham.     I didn't actually stay in the hotel because we wanted to stay on Valentine's Night and we got 2 single beds instead of a double. The hotel had other people who had the same problem and I think it was due to the online booking agent rather then the hotel. There were no double rooms so we had to book another hotel.     We were in Birmingham for the Festival of Quilts at the NEC. We loved stayingin your hotel as it was so convenient for the city and lovely places to eat in the evenings. Staff were so helpful before our visit and during it.
