Made welcome from the minute i arrived and immediately offered tea and cake which was not expected but a lovely touch. The Welford is a small hotel that feels a bit like a B&B. The owner is very helpful and friendly without being pushy. We had a room on the street side of the first floor, with a very good bed. Parking opposite was free with a 24-hour license. Breakfast was complete and good. The location is in a quiet street a few minutes from the city center.

Murray House is of a 5 star standard with a relaxed atmosphere. The facilities are excellent and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. There is a nice variety on the breakfast menu and the food is very good. I would recommend it to even the most discerning traveller. A big well done to Tracey and Co :-)

The owners Sue and Austin were a great couple. We booked the Sherwood based on the reviews and happy that we did. This is the best guest house we have ever stayed in. The owners were welcoming and friendly and the whole house was spotless. Our room was modern, comfy and well-equipped and the breakfast was excellent. It is in an excellent location for shopping, eating and theatre visits and parking was not a problem due to the permit system. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

From the minute I booked 27 Harrogate, the owners Judy and Brian were so helpful and prompt. We arrived to a beautiful large Victorian property secured by electronic gates and plenty of room to park. The rooms were amazing as was the lemon drizzle cake 'reception'. Owners were brilliant very accommodating and nothing too much trouble. Very comfortable clean spotless room me and my friend booked the small twin which we booked last minute (only twin left) and were not disappointed, everything we needed. We asked them to recommend a restaurant which they did and was excellent. Breakfast was superb. Will definitely stay there again when in Harrogate 10 out of 10. Thank you.
