After reading a lot of the negative reviews I was quite worried about visiting but for the price that I paid it was a good place to stop overnight and ideal for what we wanted.

  We stayed at the Gloucester Hotel for 4 days and booked one of the studios, which was on the other side of the street. The room and the bathroom were very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and polite (we had a problem with warm water at day one, as we told the staff about it, they fixed it in the next our).   The staff were very friendly & welcoming. It was extremely clean with clean towels every day & plenty of tea/coffee/milk provided. The breakfast was great and the staff even helped with booking taxis for us.
