Location! Very easy to find from the train station. Elevator available (although it's soo slow). Free WiFi was very smooth (although only in the common area). Helpful staff, suggested me alternatives of transport and calling a cab for me. Comfy bed, love the comforter. Surprisingly the room is quite sound-proof from the noise from the street. Nice bathroom with handheld shower! Free map provided.

Muy bien ubicado en el centro de la ciudad con acceso a recorrer andando cada rincon de Edimburgo, muy limpio en todo momento con la posibilidad de conocer gente de todo el mundo con la que practicar tu Ingles. Hay que destacar la amabilidad de todo su personal que siempre tiene una sonrisa para recibirte y ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. La verdad si volviera a Edimburgo repetiria en Haggis hostel sin duda.

reception open 24/7 gave me complete flexibility in my arrival/departure times. It was a very small and cosy all girls hostel . There are only about 18 beds and that made it very easy for people to meet each other. Kylie, the owner , is a very experienced backpacker and obviously knows exactly what it takes to make a perfect little hostel. Brand new wooden bunks. clean bathrooms. little nightlights. free shampoos. hair dryers.

I loved this hostel! Kylie is a such a great host which gives the whole place a really nice and friendly feel to it. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm which was very comfortable with a great bed so it was easy to get a good nights sleep there! The smell of the home made bread cooking in the morning is also a great treat!
