We've stayed at Hotel Indigo in Glasgow which is fabulous and the Edinburgh one did not disappoint either. Location is perfect. They are installing tram lines in the street but it still has access if you are arriving by car or taxi. Its a short walk to Waverly Station and all main tourist attractions can be reached by foot if you like to walk.
Room was excellent, breakfast was great. Did not try the restaurant at night but menu looked good and fairly priced.
Staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Fantastic apartment in a great location, close to the main bars and shops etc. Someone came and met us at the apartment to show us around, how to use the heating, oven etc. The apartment had 3 bedrooms upstairs with 8 single beds then down a spiral staircase to the huge living space, kitchen and patio doors to an outside decking area. Really cool place to stay-right in the town centre. Less than 10mins from train/bus station. Staff was very nice. We've got giant family room with 4post bed, with TV, hair drier, shower and bath. All spotless clean, fresh towels every morning. Breakfast room and food was very good, service quick. Spacious and comfortable- I think staff struggle when it is busy to be available but it does have a rather welcoming informality about the place.
