thought it was well worth the money and would definately use again - clean, nice friendly lady (only saw this one member of staff) but she was v helpful. room very clean and bed was comfortably but its a bit dated. The hotel had a unique and modern design, extremely friendly and helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble. We visted the adjoining restaurant 'STEAK' and although it was quite expensive the food and service was worth every penny. We stayed in the room Loch Rannoch which featured a comfy king sized bed, a large flat screen TV with Sky, modern bathroom with huge walk in shower and despite other reviews plently of hot water!

The staff very helpful (especially the doorman-William), the rooms were very well equiped, clean and tidy and escaped out onto a rooftop expance that gave great views out over Edinburgh. To keep it in a nutshell - everything! We stayed in the triple room (Nr. 1) which is to the rear side of the building with garden view and very quiet. We left the window open all night. The room is equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, etc. and tastefully decorated to the highest standard. The breakfast is superb and offers a wide range of choice... what people say » s and the owners are so lovely people. We felt at home from the first moment on and they've secured their place in my Top-5-list of Scottish B&Bs. -
Dave and Susan were the nicest couple, who made you feel friendly and at home in their beautiful Georgian style B&B in the city centre of Edinburgh. The B&B is conveniently located; it's a 25 minutes walk to the Royal Mile or a bus ride of 5 minutes. The breakfast was exceptionally well organised with lots of fresh fruits, croissants, yoghurts and cereals, and many different sorts of baked goods.
I would recommend this B&B to everyone and if we return to Edinburgh, we will definitel
