A modern hotel with free wi-fi and free facility of an ironing room which proved useful. We stayed in a standard room with good wet room at the front of the hotel overlooking a busy road but we heard no traffic noise. The air conditioning very efficient. Staff extremely friendly and happy to help. Location is fantastic right by the station and a short walk to the north laines. Room was clean and spacious, fairly functional but that's not a bad thing. The lobby and communal areas and well decorated and welcoming. We had a room at the back of the hotel on the top floor and slept soundly even with the window open- anyone who has visited Brighton before will appreciate how rare this is!!

Our host, Gail & Peter, were very welcoming and helpful with maps, pointing out places of interest to visit, access to the different transportation. The food was excellent, with home made breads, fresh fruit. Gail & Peter made us feel at home in their home, were very interesting to visit with. We would definitely recommend their B&B

A big thank you to Darren and the staff at The Moreland for a lovely and thoroughly relaxing weekend. Our room was cosy and modern, and we took far too much advantage of the complimentary chocolates (back to the gym today!). We loved the huge DVD collection, which was a thoughtful touch especially useful on a rainy Saturday afternoon. The breakfast was divine, far nicer than your average ‘continental’ offering and very filling. Darren was a great host, patiently telling us about all the must do

communications from managers/owners. I would 100% stay there again
and recommend to friends - however I would take additional towels,
