Hotels near Croxteth Hall & Country Park

We booked a long weekend in the Tower apartments in Liverpool. The apartment was amazing, really modern and even had a huge roof terrace. They were really spacious and we will never stay anywhere else in Liverpool. This is the first time we have booked an apartment for a weekend away but it wont be our last, it was so much nicer than a hotel, we could all sit up and chat and have breakfast together and it was great to be able to make our own food to save a bit of money. We stayed overnight on friday to see a show (chitty chitty bang bang) at the Liverpool Empire. We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the hotel and how quiet it was especially located in the middle of this busy city. The staff were amazing , the girls on reception, John the concierge and the dining room staff couldn't be friendlier. The bed with its beautiful pillows kept us comfortable all night. Altogether a great experience. AND the theatre is only a very short stroll away.We will de - Patricia

we had the most amazing experience, we arrived on bikes and these were collected from outside by the porter and put in a safe place overnight, Our room was totally amazing with the biggest bed I have ever slept in...we were given (without asking) another rooms key so that we could use the bath. The reception staff sorted us puit with an early breakfast, as well ans supplying us with a packed lunch to send us on our merry cycling way. The location is superb, and the building is gorgeous. What a lovely hotel in a great location, right on the Docks. A short walk to Liverpool 1 which is well worth a visit. Rooms were extremely clean and spacious. We were really surprised at how quiet the hotel was as sometime when you book these 'budget' hotels they are prone to have groups of rowdy stags and hens staying at them but we did not find that this was the case at this hotel.We parked in the nearby Echo Arena carpark which is a short walk away and was really easy to find. Booked here after a weeklong trip to Ireland. A 15 pound cab fare from the airport. We were able to check in several hours early. The room is spacious. We had two double beds. Nice and clean. Beds are good with two pillows each. Nice, but not great view of the river. However, we didn't spend much time in our room. Liverpool has so much to do. Amanda, Richard and Gary were especially helpful at the desk. We were only going to stay one night but we liked it so well we asked for another night - Pawel

We stayed at the Hard Days Night Hotel for 2 nights and found the whole experience to be wonderful. The location of the hotel is perfect for the centre of the city and is near to the shops and a short stroll to the docks where all the bars and clubs are. The taxi rank is out the front of the hotel which is perfect when you don't know the area. Initially we were concerned that the 'Beatles' theme of the hotel would be tacky but it was very tasteful and interesting to look at the various artefacts - Caroline

I was shocked to find this GEM in England........it was perfection food rooms clean nice folks......we wer so happy we stayed at the same hotel in London and Henley on Thames........ - Roger

What can I say about these apartments?! They are just fab, really close to the city centre. We were on a couples weekend away with our friends and the team who run the apartments advised us on where to eat and where to drink - very helpful! The apartment we stayed in was on the first floor and was very comfortable with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen even had tea, coffee and sugar - so we could have a cuppa when we arrived. We are planning another weekend to Liverpool and L3 Livin - Mary-lou
