    Almost everything: The staff was really nice, which managed to understand me through my horrid english, and were always there to help with anything. The rooms were clean and nice. Staying with two people attending the same Con i was on, i had real fun there. With the lowest price i could find around, YHA Manchester offers great quality. The con w... what people say » ill be held again next year, and i know YHA will be my accomodation choice for it. - Loved everything about it. Will be telling all my friends that YMA is a must. Bar. Free parking. Room clean and spacious. I travelled down and stayed on the 18th June 2013 in a quadruple room with friends and it was fantastic!! Well worth the it for the price. Will be staying again. Gem x

    I absolutely LOVED the staff they were so lovely and very very helpful. The location was also very convenient as there are many stylish shops around and Piccadilly is only a 5 minutes walk away so it was also very convenient for visiting the museums. Breakfast was very nice and the lounge was a place were you could comfortably spend some time betw... what people say » een activities.The hotel also offers a couple of nice activieties like a pub crawl and a guided tour. All in all I would absolutely recommend The Hatt - Almost everything! This hostel helped make Manchester one of the highlights of my trip. The location is perfect for shopping, and the center of the city is not far at all. It was so easy to meet people here. The pub crawls are a lot of fun and I recommend them to anyone who wants to quickly make friends. The staff were all nice, as well, and gave us plenty of help finding things.

    friendly helpful staff, good location, clean, windows that open, spacious room with many surfaces the kitchen was right around the corner from my room - helpful staff, central location, very clean, very quiet, bed very comfy, we were both very pleased with the hostel

    Fantastic hostel. Very close to city centre. Staff were very helpful and polite. Comfortable bed and very clean room. Highly recommend anyone staying there!
