Hotels near Big Ben

I'd never stayed at The Athenaeum before but I will be back. Although I booked a standard double at a very deep discounted rate (typically this means getting the box room next to the staff quarters), I was given an apartment room which was really a suite. It was excellent and I cannot commend it highly enough. Excellent value for money. - Jim
