  We had a lovely room overlooking Big Ben and Parliament. The view was so wonderful, the nights were spectacular watching the boats and the river lights. The weather was warm and balmy and the walks along the river embankment were spectacular. The hotel is in a perfect location, the staff superb and the service top notch.   This is the second time we have stayed at The Sanctuary House and was again fantastic, if not better. We stayed in an executive room so got a four post king size bed that you can get lost in and would recommend paying the little extra for the executive rooms.   We stayed here whilst my husband ran the London marathon and the location was perfect! (A minute walk from mile 25!). We only booked a basic small double, but it was large enough, very clean, the bed was amazing, the bar very stylish and although we were at the back of the hotel....which may be for the more basic rooms (and our view was of other b... what people say » uildings), it was absolutely peaceful at night! We slept with our window open and we couldn't believe we were in central London! We have already booke - Club Quarters is a brilliant choice to make if you are in the city for a short time and want to take in as much as you can. The location is superb. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. Free WiFi ( worked beautifully ) made our lives easier....charting routes, train timings, directions etc etc. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Simply loved the chilled water outlet and the Guest Services cupboard available for guests . a very thoughtful gesture by the hotel and much apprecia

  The staff on reception were exceptionally helpful on our arrival and allowed us to check in 3 hours early and parked the car for us. We had just arrived from a business night in the Intercontinental Park Lane and taking away the fancy veneer in the room the City Inn was every bit as good (if not better). - Liked the fact that all the little extras ... what people say » were in the room and included in price (apart from prices for the mini bar) ie: free internet access, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, bath robes, mini bar, basket of goodies. There is also a fantastic cocktail bar and restaurant on site and amazing views. - City inn was absolutely brilliant. Clean and spacious,the room even had a Thames view. There was a computer in the room and broadband was free. I wish I had known about the complimentary tea/coffee/cakes which were out of view in a cupbord in the room and I only found out later when booking out.

  Excellant hotel, location and staff. We did have a problem with bed the first night (headboard dislodged) and the next day they moved us to better room and gave us a discount for that night. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. - Excellent location for the main tourist sites in London
