We stayed at Hill House on a 4 day bank holiday weekend during our two week tour of England. It was the best b&b we stayed at during the trip.
Room #5 was a hike to get to on the third floor but worth it. The room was tastefully decorated with just enough space for our needs. The shower only bathroom was spacious and modern. The room was quite quiet with a great view.
Harry and Douglas and Al were the consummate hosts with an encyclopedic knowledge of Bath restaurants, attractions and event

A great place to stay, close proximity to town centre. Did not see the actual owners but the staff standing in we're extremely friendly and cooked a fabulous breakfast. Was a bit disappointed with the dirty grout in the shower, otherwise clean and comfortable.

Mark and Mary were delightful hosts, attentive to our needs and wishes, plus interesting to talk to as well. The breakfasts were excelent. The room and bed were very comfortable, the facilities clean and new. Sharing a bathroom was not a problem, as there were 2-1/2 baths to chose from. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of downtown and the Royal Crescent. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. We'd stay there whenever we're in Bath again.

The house was comfortable and spotlessly clean throughout, and because it dated back to the 1800's it had character and history. Breakfast was more than ample to replenish 3 chaps

From the moment we stepped in, the place was inviting. The check-in process was fast and easy as they were expecting us and I only needed to provide my first name...no annoying paperwork. The room was small, but clean, which is most important! We only stayed one night and spent most of time exploring Bath so the size of the room didn't hinder our comfort. Breakfast was great...much better than I have found at a hotel buffet and they have a menu from which you can order for eggs and pancake
