Staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms were lovely, it's easy to see what a great house the building must once have been. V friendly staff - good setting up the hill from the city but with a fine view from upper floors - bedroom was functional clean comfortable with a v powerful shower - and although the decor was a little tired and dated it added to the overall feel of an old English hotel from years ago - so whilst that could seem negative in fact it added to the fun of the one night stay.

We stayed at Hill House on a 4 day bank holiday weekend during our two week tour of England. It was the best b&b we stayed at during the trip.
Room #5 was a hike to get to on the third floor but worth it. The room was tastefully decorated with just enough space for our needs. The shower only bathroom was spacious and modern. The room was quite quiet with a great view.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Brocks Guest house -
Brocks Guest House was fantastic. It was one of the cheaper B&Bs I looked at, but ranked far above others which were more expensive. The house is absolutely beautiful; lovingly maintained. The owners were great, very friendly and experienced and were very accommodating of our quite early arrival time, parking requirements and didn't blink when we messed up the seating plan at breakfast ;-) A lovely place to stay, in a fantastic Bath location. I would recommend to all my friends and family!

The Priory's aim is to create a country house hotel. The Staff were welcoming and friendly. The landscaped gardens are beautiful and the staff were attentive whilst not intrusive. The Spa was very relaxing. Our room had good views of the garden as a deluxe standard. Our every request was dealt with efficiently and politely but . The michelin starred chef's menu did not disappoint.
