    Everything! We truly felt that we were invited guests. From the moment we arrived Barry did everything he could, and then some, to ensure we were welcome. The personal welcome note, to the fire in the library with cocktails allowed us to unwind from our travels. Dinner was excellent, and Barry is a wealth of knowledge on the Hall's history and "he... what people say » doesn't let the truth get in the way of a good story." We were left with the feeling of wanting to linger, to savor the experience. To spend a weeken - Everything about my stay at Goldsborough Hall was what I had hoped for and beyond what I expected. The house is beautiful and set in lovely grounds which are well worth a walk around. The room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. The staff and owners were friendly and curteous. Every moment I was there I felt welcome and also that my satisfaction was the priority. Goldsborough Hall provides the country manor stay that you think you can only dream of. I will definitely be returning.

    The location of the hotel is excellent. Set in centre of Knaresborough. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Denise, the owner, makes every effort to make your stay comfortable,and genuinly seemstocare about making your stay enjoyable. The room we stayed in, in the stables around the back, was excellent with an exceptionally large bed!! Overall our stay in Knare - This is a lovely old building and the room that we stayed in was warm and well equipped with drinks, toiletries etc. The bed was very very comfy and the breakfast was lovely: lots of choice and beautifully cooked. We were given lots of useful advice on local restaurants, and we were also allowed to use the hotel car park after we had booked out whilst we explored the town.

    Our hostess at Kirkgate House was very welcomming and an excellent cook! Location couldn't have been better - we weren't driving but we were walking distance from everything, including 2mins to the train station (very handy for Harrogate day-trip!). Decor & cleanliness in rooms was excellent, and the courtyard very handy to bring in a sandwic... what people say » h & have a cuppa! Will hopefully return soon & very happy to recommend Kirkgate House. - Picked this b&b for a weekend break to visit Harrogate and show ground and it was an excellent choice. Knarsbourgh is really quaint and has spectacular views from castle which is less than 5 min walk away. Our hostess was lovely everywhere very clean, bed really comfy, lovely breakfasts and good size room with thoughtfully extras very homely. Would definitely stay there again and highly reccomend kirkgatehouse.

    This is an exceptional hotel. Staff will do everything to make your stay welcome. We were totally relaxed from the minute we arrived and our bags were collected from the car and taken to our room.     It suited us for a convenient place to stay. as we were attending a funeral at the near cemetery. Good venue for visiting Harrogate & Knaresborough also near York. Excellent meal in the evening.
