Seabrook House is a Victorian property set in landscaped gardens. It offers well-equipped bedrooms, a bar, free parking and views to France and Dungeness. Seabrook House carried out a major refurbishment, many rooms are updated. There is a bar in the shared lounge. Guests can also make use of the Oasis Real Sunlight Retreat, which uses Swedish 'real sunlight' simulators to enable guest to relax in 30⁰ C sunshine at all times. The sun light is created by a unique, 100% safe system of "sunlight simulators" which fully replicate natural sunlight and provide all the sun's proven health benefits such as better sleep, an increase in energy, the elimination of SAD, a stronger immune system, vitamin D production, increased blood circulation and soothing of aches and pains. The Seabrook is only 5 minutes' drive to the Eurotunnel and 15 minutes to Dover and Folkestone. Sandwich and its Golf Open Championship are just a 30-minute easy drive away.

peaceful and excellent staff and cleanleness. Very clean, excellent rooms, pleasant and cooperative staff. We arrived very late and they were able to cope with this.We liked the cleanliness of the whole hotel and the staff were very polite. the standard of room was very good. all reviews » The situation and size of the room and breakfasts. Hotel rooms were in excellent condition. The view is an excellent room and great value for money. Breakfast times need revising 07.00-09.00 on a sunday is poor and designed to suit the hotel and not the guests.It's close proximity to the Euro Tunnel Terminal, also it had lovely sea views, and in a nice position close to Hythe town. The hotel was peaceful with little noise, a good breakfast with a god range to choose from. The staff did not hassle.very impressed with the family room we booked for daughter. Very relaxing, also excellent public transport links.Convenient for my purpose. Large room. Spacious, comfortable room. Good breakfast - though fried egg was hard every day !. We stayed in the View which was so much bigger then we expected,it waslike a whole flat. So Value for Money it is deffenitly worth it howeversee below for the catches !!. nice breakfast, like the toasters on the tables. Convenience to Dover. Friendly staff. Size of room was good. The bed in the room wasnt very comfortable. little repairs could improve the comfort , more light in the rooms would be nice to be able to read at night. The radiator was on hot and could not be turned down. Breakfast was poor. Location and breakfasts times. Staff were not very forthcoming. No information in the room. No phone.Bed wasnt made when we arrived, There were no dvd Players and it didnthave Sky Tv. Also the heating doesnt work so freezing at night. Butapart from all that its alright. Hotel just need to update there info onthe room as it said it has all the above but didnt. shower did not work, when informed staff was told i should have fetched someone.... in my towel??? Bed really uncomfortable. Hotel badly in need of redecoration. Breakfast very poor despite www describing as excellent. Gutter drainage problem at front of hotel shabby. Decor and furniture in the hotel/ room was a bit tired. Breakfast was overcooked and not very appetising.On arrival the bed was not made. Standard of the food was poor. Couyldhave been better overall.

Travelling information

Seabrook House is situated on the a259 on the eastern outskirts of Hythe. From the m20 exit at junction 12 (1 km south of the Channel Tunnel exit) signposted Cheriton. On leaving the motorway follow the signs for Cheriton onto a dual carriageway, immediately take the right hand lane for approx. 200 metres and turn right towards 'Tesco' supermarket (signposted b2064 Hythe). After a further 200 metres you will come to a set of traffic lights, turn left here onto Horn Street (signposted b2064 Hythe) and follow this winding lane for just over a kilometre until you reach a 't' junction with 'The Fountain ' public house on the left. At this junction turn right and you will find Seabrook House on your right in approx 0.5 km (look out for our blue and yellow sign). From the Dover Ferry Terminal follow the signs for Folkestone and London (a20) for approx 12km until the a20 merges into the m20 - junction 12 is 1km from the start of the motorway.
