Situated just south of Heathrow Airport, The Swan Inn is a 5-minute drive from Terminal 4 Rail Station. It is a traditional English pub with affordable bed and breakfast accommodation. The Swan features a sports bar with satellite TV, a lounge bar and an outdoor beer area. A number of fishing lakes can be reached in 10 minutes’ drive from the building. Each room features a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, carpeted floors and old wooden framing on the ceilings. They each have TVs and DVD players. A continental breakfast is available in the morning, and traditional pub food is served in the restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, and free private parking is possible on site. The Swan Inn is 3 miles from both Ashford and Staines. Staines Rail Station is a 10-minute drive from the building.

beer downstairs. that my dog was welcome to stay with me, that we had a key to the back door, that it was quiet, that there was plenty of places to walk the dog close by. Staff were excellent. Julie was very friendly and helpful. Made all guests feel very relaxed and at home. Price! & books in room, does what is says on the tin, helpful staff, a pub.

Friendly bar - my kind of people except for the Millwall supporter Scrap (just joking) I was supposed to stay two nights but stayed only one upstairs this time much better than the room I had before out back. It was no problem to rearrange the 2nd night in the same room for two weeks time. It was a last min decision,my only interest was to have a good night sleep,in a warm bedroom,so It did not matter that there was no breakfast available basic bedroom with radiator & shoddy furniture,friendly lady booked me in,pub was quiet, but warm & enjoyable. Staff who tried to be friendly as much as try can buy with rubbish facilities there isn't much they can convince anyone with. Its close to Hethrow. The bar staff and the regulars in the bar, the Guinness, Sky TV, free WIFI and the parking. You wouldn't put your pet dog in the accommodation. There is not a single good thing I can say about this dump!. I would not let the dog stay in this dump. It had a good internet connection. Good beer in the bar. Nothing!!. Nothing. Nothing. nothing. Location wasn't as mentioned on Bookings.com bathroom dirty/smelly. Shared bathroom - but advertised as such so can't complain. Tatty and run down - but you could say quirky. Shower isn't very good, but you get what you pay for. This is a bare-bones hostelry, the best feature of which is its proximity to Heathrow airport. Room was tiny, toilet down the hall, and there's a communal shower room behind the pub. Perfectly adequate, but a rather sad place to stay on my last night in the U.K. The shared bathroom and WC. In poor state!. Could have been cleaner and with a better shower. No soap or shampoo. the kitchen did not look clean so I didn't eat there. None. I paid for break first and waited for 1.5 hours for the door to open to the pub. I then found out there was none (cook not there or something) but I had paid for it and never received my money back :S very annoying!!!. Down to earth place - basic amenities but then you get what you pay for. Bed was falling to pieces as was the bedside cabinet,had to rebuild bed before I could sleep in it.bedside cabinet looked like it would disintegrate if I opened the drawer ? So I left it alone. No breakfast,no towels. Everything else. Very poor facilities for a £90/ night place. Was in a loft conversion when it was boiling hot, they didnt even have fans to give out. Facilities are only slightly better than camping, a rip off at £90/ night. They wouldn't let you cancel once you've booked either, even for the following day,if they did every single booked person might cancel it as soon as they turn up here. Wouldn't be booking an unknown hotel through any website in the future. I booked for two days but when I reached the hotel they told me that they can accommodate me only for a day ..with two young children I had nowhere to go and decided to cut short my vacation becase of this hotel. SERIOUS WARNING Be prepared for the worst - this place is an overpriced dump. The rooms upstairs are dirty and tatty. You wouldn't put your dog in the rooms out back. This place would easily win 1st prize for the least attractive place to stay near Heathrow. 2nd prize would be the Oakwood B & B at West Drayton which is also a dump. Take my advice go to Fountain House hotel Hayes - nice people, homely, a good breakfast, free parking and WIFI excellent value for money. I have travelled up and down the country for over 20 years this is the worst place I have had the misfortune to stay in. Its dirty, shabby and dangerous, torn carpets and wires hanging from walls. A truly dreadful place that should be shut down! I cringe to think that visitors to our country might stay here!. Everything else. It is a 'down at heel' pub. We got to our room called "The Loft" up a steep, swaying outside stairway. We were all pretty spry and could make the stairs, but did have a hard time squeezing the bags in the room. The water in the toilet went off periodically and the water in the tub was tepid. Room had permanently open window stuffed with a towel, and there were other broken windows in the building. Where do I begin ??. They have charged my card although I have paid them cash! So I paid double for one night. From terminal 5 you must take the bus 441, but the driver did not know and did not left me on the right place. Beds bugs and dirty rooms and poor bathroom. It was a disgrace. Should not be trading as a B&B . DISGRACEFUL, un clean.
