Free local buses run every 20 minutes throughout the day from just outside the hotel. Most of the bright rooms include tea/coffee making facilities and some rooms include an en suite bathroom. All rooms except the budget rooms come with a flat-screen TV. There are 2 pubs/restaurants within 3 minutes' walk of the hotel. The M25 motorway is just a 2-minute drive away. The M4 motorway and Richings Park Golf Club are a 5-minute drive. The hotel's own free bus service runs to and from the airport between 06:00 and 10:30 and 18:00 and 22:30.

For our purpose, a short overnight stay between flights, it was just fine. Absolutely no complaints. The window was double glazed , so minimal aircraft noise. The wake up call was on time. The shuttle was reasonably punctual...and free. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The price was very reasonable. I couldn't ask for anything more. The staf were friendly and very helpful on both occasions. I was able to relax before my holiday and rest after it. I've already recommended Heathrow Lodge to several folk, including a visitor from America that I spoke to whilst waiting for me train home.

I needed a place to sleep near the airport before catching a connecting flight the next morning, and the Heathrow Lodge was excellent for the purpose. They picked us up late at night with very little notice and we did not wait long. The rooms were simple but clean and the staff was always friendly, even at 2:00am!. The proximity to the airport as we were flying out the next and wereable to leave our car in the park and have lunch nearby. Again problemwith parkng as you had to pay to park. Wot a pain. A bit noisy, the staff should emphasize to the guests to show respect bynot slamming doors at 5 am.The rooms were a bit small and there was not a lift, but from what I hear, this is normal all over the UK. Staff forgot to wake me up at 5:30 wake-up call. Fortunately, their call was just a back-up.There was not heat in the room, so it was a very cold night. I hope next time that they have the heat on. The cleanliness of the shared bathroom..Inability of the hotel to refund my last day money,i paid for 4days but checked out on the third day but the hotel did not refund my money for the last day unused,it was like a ripoff for me. Just that it didn't have internet or a phone that I could use.The bathrooms are miniscule, but you get what you pay for. They were certainly clean. Very bad mould smell from bathroom that stunk whole room. no lounge area. lack of restaurants. just the noise from the plane taking off from HR - this is to be expected, but wow! loud! They stopped overnight though, so I did get sleep. People wanting private bath etc go elsewhere. I was fine with the simplest of rooms for overnight. Take local bus from Term 5 (468?) - free, it's the first stop, then walk back a block or two. Taxi back to HR was 6 pounds, fast, easy. We stayed here at the start and finish of our trip. On both stays we reserved as two people however, we only received one bath towel?. The bathroom/toilet facility was a little small but it served its purpose. I wish there is a table light.Did not expect to share a bathroom with an entire floor. Would have prefered an alarm clock in the room. The airport shuttle was a bit hit and miss. I could not find the shuttle on arrival - after a 20 hour flight, this was a real problem. I spent a lot of time waiting for shuttles on this and subsequent stays.Bed was not the greatest - ok for a one night stay.

Courtesy Bus runs from 06:00 to 10:30 and 18:00 to 22:30 every 45 minutes from Terminals 1, 4 and 5. There is no service during the afternoons and the service is only available upon request. Once you have cleared customs and passport control and are in the main arrivals terminal, you can contact the property to arrange collection from the the pick up point nearest to you. Please note that the staff will try their best to reach you as swiftly as possible but delays during extremely busy periods may occur. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. By Bus: Heathrow Lodge is on number 81 and 423 bus route. From Terminal 5, Bus 423, which is free, can be boarded from Stop No 6 and the Lodge is just one stop away. By London Underground: The nearest London Underground station is Heathrow terminal 5 on the Piccadilly Line.

By Air (from London Heathrow Airport): A free 8-seater courtesy bus travels to and from all terminals, Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 12:00 and 17:30 to 22:30 and on Saturdays and Sundays from 06:00 to 10:00 and 18:00 to 22.00. This service is only available upon request. Please call the Heathrow Lodge once you have cleared customs and they will direct you to the nearest pick-up point. No service on 25 December and 1 January. By Bus: The Heathrow Lodge is on the number 81 bus route from Hounslow to Slough. By London Underground: The nearest London Underground station is Heathrow on the Piccadilly line. By Train: The Heathrow Express train service runs regularly between London Heathrow Airport and London Paddington Station in central London. The journey takes just 15 minutes.
