The room was very well appointed and decorated. It was very large, bright and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a wide section. The Welford is a small hotel that feels a bit like a B&B. The owner is very helpful and friendly without being pushy. We had a room on the street side of the first floor, with a very good bed. Very comfortable clean spotless room me and my friend booked the small twin which we booked last minute (only twin left) and were not disappointed, everything we needed.
