A 'must consider place' for anyone looking for good, quiet, convenient accommodation. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable - and just a short walk to the town centre. Would definitely stay there again. Friendly and very helpful staff. Central location excellent food. Airy secure bedroom. Lovely patio area to enjoy the beautiful sunshine in the eveneings. I was only there for nine hours so did not see much of the hotel but the room was perfect for a single overnight stay.

I have stayed at the hotel before in a standard room and it was alot bigger. Bath room not up to the standard of the hotel.Very hot! Could do with better ventilation in warmer months. Resturarnt being refurbished. Room quite small, which when sharing was a problem, but at that price,not too much of a problem. Breakfast in morning was cold, but infairness I appeared at 9.55am, five minutes before breakfast finished. Bathroom a little tiny. ensuite a bit small. the breakfast although reasonably priced at £10 its not all that edible so in fact works out at poor value. I never take breakfast here. Always pay for a double room as the singles are far too small.The tea bags used in the room were undrinkable which did spoil my stay as I could not enjoy an early morning drink of tea. overpriced room for what you got. The bathroom was tiny.The room was incredibly warm and opening the door while I was in did not seem to help. Dissapointed there was still construction going on (was happening in January too). Not much choice of programs on TV. Restaurant closed Monday night, but others open nearby so not abig problem. The bathroom was very small. The sink was so that you could not even fit a toothbrush on it. ///// I was also told that I could only park in the car park for 2 hours after I checked out even though I had just paid £70 for a one night stay. They did have a wedding on that day but even when I returned 2 hours later the car park was half empty.No lift. Terrible car parking. Almost imposs to find a space. It was so hot! even with the radiators turned off but that would be the only complaint. Smokers at tables outside forced us to sit inside on a lovely afternoon.Ban the smoking on the premises.Small shower area; noise late evening/early hours of the morning. Over Priced. Very "cosy" room not a lot of space. Small room. I thought that the breakfast staff need to offer a hot option rather than just tea and coffee. The bathroom was very small and had no bath. Room was quite small. Bed was uncomfortable. The Bar closed early even for residents.
