We spent one night with our daughter in a Drayton Court Hotel. 2 minutes walk from the West Ealing railway station (Closed on Sunday), Zone 3 Oyster can be used. The Hotel was safe and clean. We liked the design and the quality of the materials used for the interior. The coffee and the hot chocolate in the room were nice and I was impressed with the fresh milk provided. Being at the end of the Central and District lines it doesn't take long to get to shopping / West End or more business locations. Food was excellent - I ate dinner th. Busy metropolis but could not hear a thing when you went to bed because of the double windows! Went to this hotel because of the location of the train station but was useless at evening/night, shut up shop, but, go round the corner and get on a number 7 or 11 bus, this takes you through to Ealing Broadway and Central or District Line underground trains to the heart of London in 20 minutes! For this sort of travel suggest an Oyster card which you can buy in most newsagents or online. Hotel great. Loved the room we stayed in called the Blue Lamp Suite. Breakfast was excellent, Eggs Royale superb. Location very close to West Ealing train station with good connections to Heathrow or Paddington. Staff very friendly and helpful. Changed rooms mid stay to upgrade to a suite. Staff moved all our luggage whilst we enjoyed time with our son at Hampton Court. Will definitely stay here again. The location was great, it was far enough out of London to get away from the crowds but also easy to get to London via the train station. The hotel was very clean with friendly staff who were always willing to assist. It was a nice surprise to find this hotel at the last minute. The main street is only a few minutes walk so it was easy to get something to eat. Location - Slightly awkward to get to as not on tube line, so need to take train from Ealing Broadway to West Ealing. However if fit, only short walk to Ealing Broadway down Gordon Road. Limited parking to the rear of the property. I arrived early to ensure i had a parking spot for the weekend as there is limited parking close to the hotel.Apart from that nothing to complain about. Cannot think of anything.Did not use the restaurant or spa but would if we had stayed longer. From the pictures I thought the was almost situated in a park, that is not the case. It has a big garden though. Took staff a few minutes to come to check us in due to the bar being full and them serving in the bar - but this was a very minor inconvenience and only because we arrived late and were so tired. The fact that Wigan beat Man City and the rain. The Bar and Dining Room looked a little "tired". The cereal selection for breakfast could do with some attention. the doors in the hall were too noisy so you could hear the neighbors leaving really loudly. i could not hear any noise through the wall and from the pub downstairs though. Access to car park entrance needs better signs. Car parking at hotel limited. Monday morning at seven the brewers delivers a truck of keggs giving a lot of noise... Limited parking spaces Small bathroom, heated towel rail next to WC made it difficult to use. Not being able to stay more days. Baked beans were dry. Spa not on sight and no shelf area for the Bath. Slightly inconvenient for getting around London on public transportation, but not impossible. The full English breakfast was appalling. Distance from central London. nothing. Didn't get to spend enough time there!!!!. A bit noisy because of low flying aircrafts from Heathrow and nearby trains. breakfast. The reception was not five star standard and the outfit of staffs are not unified. not find my laptop adaptor a bit far from the tube.
