Really liked my sunny south facing bedroom with excellent en-suite bathroom. Exceptionally comfortable memory foam mattress (particularly important as I sometimes suffer with back pain). Really friendly, helpful landlady Rosemary who makes very tasty breakfasts and is full of local knowledge. Also Bruce who helped me sort out my best route to next destination. Lovely couple. It was also very helpful having on site parking.Would hugely recommend anyone else to stay.
all reviews » Our friendly hosts provided clean, well equipped accommodations. From this location you can walk to restaurants, the harbour, town centre and National Maritime Museum. Pendennis Castle is a 5 minute drive away. The breakfast, provided for an additional charge, was excellent. It was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, the bed was the comfiest I have known and had great views and everything you would need. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and for the price this one was one of the best. friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere , proximity to shopping docks and seaside,comfort , being treated individually for breakfast requirements nothing to much trouble (diabetic). Excellent owners who are friendly and very helpful. I found my stay Wellington House welcoming, relaxing and great value for money. I would definitely stay again. made very welcome and the breakfast was excellent,the proprietor even went out of her way when we had forgot to order breakfast for the second day of our stay. location was great , 10 mins to centre of falmouth , which due to good weather was buzzing . Realy enjoyed our stay , landlady was realy nice. We were very well looked after through our stay - home from home. Very clean and plenty of choice for breakfast. Great breakfast. Comfortable beds. I had to disturb the owners a few times as I couldn't open the door which had me seriously worried that I would be stuck outside in the rain all night. Also the blinds were very difficult to control, which was a shame as we ended up missing out on the beautiful views rather than keep messing with them. nothing. nothing realy , raisins in the pancakes was bit strange !!!. parking was limited. Nothing. nothing. walls were a bit thin,could hear next room chatting. Didn't realise that I had not booked breakfast until the confirmation came through. bed/wardrobe/dark/poor shower/lack of warmth from owners - too much like 'traditional seaside landlady'.
