the staff were lovely and the hotel is exceptionally clean. Easy atmosphere and close to town centre. Friendly family atmosphere. Location. The personal attention of the owners and staff without being intrusive or fawning. The food and waiter service far exceeded my expectation for such a small hotel. It was really excellent. The evening meal I had was fresh, delicious, beautifully presented and good value. Staff were friendly, room clean and comfortable, breakfast good. Friendliness and courtesy of staff. Facilities adequate for our needs. Friendly staff, comfortable room and a good breakfast. Good food and staff who were friendly without being intrusive. very close to falmouth centre. Friendliness. The location. Helpful manager, comfortable large room, pretty park across the road. Free parking. Friendliness of proprietors. Good breakfast.clean and friendly, good food, well looked after by staff. Convenient location, pleasant staff. nice spacious room, good breakfast. Good location and easy check in.did what it said on the tin. Friendly and helpful staff.Hotel Staff. Breakfast. Welcoming and helpful staff, especially as we arrived very late in the evening. Spacious room, cleanliness, of room - warm room, comfortable beds - Wonderful position overlooking the park. Clean shower room, toilet and hand basin.Food and Service was excellent. Proximity to town centre. Peace and quiet. Food exellent. Not really a "business" hotel....no desk in the room.Helpful interested staff. Good food nicely presented. Good location for Falmouth, pleasant staff. Accessibility. Closeness to town facilities. Breakfast. Friendliness. Very nice people. friendly management and very good breakfast. Staff. Breakfast. Unfortunately shower did leak a bit but we just used one of the towelsto soak up, no real prob. bit old looking. Bathroom was a little bit cramped. The wash hand basin was too small and the pillows uncomfortable. Parking was a bit of a squeeze - only one space left when we arrived.always prefer bath and shower rather than just shower. Only stayed one night though so could not complain really. There was some damp and mould on the walls. Small car park and noisy plumbing during the night. interior is a little dated. The ensuite was very small and the sliding door would not shut properly, therefore there was a lack of privicy!. Room was a little bit old fashioned, and dusty.Soap tray was taped on in the bathroom; step on the ground floor to the restaurant behind closed door could be signed; and the step down could be more prominently. I tripped on the way out of the restaurant as I was not expecting a step, and had a slight sprain on my ankle. I should have been offered an incident form to fill in. Car Parking a bit of a squeeze. Shower room door was broken and no lock. more info before making a booking on the size of rooms available would have been helpful, as we found our room cramped - staying one night as we did was fine, but i wouldn't have wanted to have stayed in that room any longer. As above re. updating the room. slightly old fashioned. The room generally was a little "tired" with furniture requiring attention or replacement. The en-suite was adorned with cobwebs and had a "cloakroom-size" washbasin which we considered inadequate. The use of chemical airfreshners run of the the mains concerned us as we do not like these, as they effect us and usually disguise other stronger smells. Small cramped room with limited ventilation.Bar very poor main lager very weak and the lemonade was the cheap ofthe cheap so had to go out for a drink and the car parking not thehotels fault. ensuite too small. Furnishings and decor a bit 'tired'. Room on top floor. Very small en-suite facility.Only single price dinners offered, no option of separate priced courses. We might have used restaurant more if there had been.Fi're doors are blocked open except after the duty manager puts the lights out. I don't think this meets health and safety requirements. In fact, I think it is illegal to block them open at any time. Poor quality furnishings, one of our towels had holes in it.
