First of all, the location was extraordinary. The sea (Firth of Forth) is just behind the hotel and you wake up, seeing big steamships and small fisher boats on the water.

This was our first stay at a Premier Inn. The hotel is clean, the rooms
were spacious. The staff was very helpful. The views of the water were
beautiful and our family enjoyed walking along the quay. The breakfast
served at the restaurant next door was perfectly fine. We ate at the
nearby Prezzo for dinner. Although we had a car, we caught the bus at
the conveniently located stop directly across from the hotel. Definitely
the right decision given the traffic and apparent lack of parking. This

The efficiency and friendliness of the staff, especially in the dining room. With a Premier Inn you know just what to expect, comfortable beds, cleanliness and welcome, at a reasonable price. Love ricks. Stayed many times before with the girls and hubby. Fab Cocktails and breakfast. The only minor grumble this time was the lack of lighting in our bedroom. Most of the wall lights had bulbs missing (not good trying to put makeup on!) and one of the bathroom lights was also out. There was no bin in the bedroom and we were kept awake in th... what people say » e night by drunken passers by outside and lorries collecting glass bottles for recycling! Very noisy! Apart from that its a great hotel in a great loc -
The hotel is located above the Rick's bar and restaurant. However, the noises won't reach the rooms. The room is a bit compact but cosy enough. There are a wide range of drinks that could be chosen in the minibar of the room. And breakfast could also be ordered from the restaurant below. The location is good which is not far from the castle.
