Thrums is 2 large Georgian houses and many rooms have period features. There is a guest lounge and a large rear gardens. There is no lift.

Friendly and helpful staff. Tasteful and interesting decor. Very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Convenient to city centre. The staff were attentive and fulfilled our request for decaffeinated coffee.Very friendly staff. Great valus for money. Cleanliness was excellent. The staff was great and extremely helpful, especially in booking a tour of the highlands. The double bathroom we had was also very nice.

My mother had an accident while we were staying at the Thrums and thecare and attention from the staff were excellent. They even took her tothe local hospital and brought her back again.Breakfast was good, not too over the top! And the shower was good. Helpful staff. Private off road parking. Easy access to city centre.Staff were very good. Breakfast was excellent. It was quiet and homely. The staff were friendly. The working staff was friendly and very helpful. The girl at thereception even helped us with carrying the baggage to the room.Closeness to city centre. Bus stop right outside. location. That it was pretty close to the city centre. The staff was quite caring and kind. It is arranged in 2 (beautiful Georgian) houses. We had to walk next door to our room. However, it was not raining so it was no problem.Driving directions could be much better. The only slight criticism was the fact that the ramps for wheelchairswere rather steep which we did mention to them.although there was a fan heater it was a tad cold. Also the tea and coffee making facilities in our room would be better and possibly safer on a table rather than a kettle on the floor!. Bed far too hard. Breakfast warm rather than hot.Hotel is on main road so some rooms are noisy. However, we were able tochange rooms easily. The room was by the road and too noisy,the shower was not hot enough,the coffee making facilities were not ideal. Its not a hotel but a bandb and therefore the price charged do not matchthe value for money. The owner came out to be not friendly having toldus during the breakfast that we cannot ask for an extra hashbrown andbeans. However, the working staff was very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was very basic and not very exciting. Room was not tidied and wet towels were left. Was quite cold in room.It was quite old, there was no hairdryer in the bathroom, nor the usual toilet items. The room wasnt perfectly clean.
