Everything about the hotel and all staff contacted were extremely helpful, polite and professional while caring about their customers.

Convenient for Lyceum, excellent breakfast. Minimalist but very restful - someone has put a lot of thought into room decor and facilities. Highly recommended.

Location. Room was spectacular! Huge picture window view of the castle from our 4th floor room. Nice divider doors between sleeping area and sitting area w/view. Very modern room.

The hotel was in easy walking distances for shops and bars and resturants making it an ideal place to stay

The hotel corridors should be made lighter as the colours are very dark also the bedroom doors should have a softer close so they are not slammed

Central hotel, very comtemporary and the room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant staff were particularly professional and helpful. The bar food was good also. The hotel overall exceeded our expectations and we would definately stay there again

A little slower to check in than we would have liked but this was due to the fact that it was the big rugby weekend and had been busy.

What more can you say when you give the hotel 11 out of 10 the hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The resturant served excellent food and wine with excellent friendly service.

The staff were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was very good and there was a good selection and choice.

we had 7 rooms booked altogether and the only complaint the group had was about the decor. the corridors were very dark and the rooms were very comfortable but were also poorly lit with modern strip and spot lighting.

The hotel was very good however because of the Edinburgh Tatoo the rates were jacked up considerably.

There was little to fault in the hotel.It certainlly was close enough tothe shops for my wife to spend pots of money.

Furniture of the rooms very comfortable and very stylish. Bed really bigand comfortable. Linen very clean

I think the room service meals are an absolute disgrace especially thesandwich. Concidering the hotel is supposed to have fantastic chef's a6year old could of made a better cheese sandwich! And you need to lookat the prices. That cheese sandwich my wife had would of been bad for anasda smart-price one! Oh and the price of breakfast went up £2overnight!

The location was close to the places we wanted to visit. The staff we dealt with were pretty friendly. Welcoming décor in the entrance and corridors. The view from our Superior room was stunning.

Shower was too powerful - like a jet wash! Breakfast was too pricey if it was not included in the room price, so we didn't bother with it.

Easy to locate and handy to a lot of the attractions in Edinburgh.The hotel restaurant and bar were nice also.

Fair bit of general noise in the hotel, possibly poorly sound insulated as you could hear when anyone in the rooms by us used their shower or toilet.No opening windows or aircon made the room stuffy.

The Restaurant was excellent both for Evening meals and Breakfast. Hotel was a good base for exploring Edinburgh. Good location.

No temprature control in the bedroom. Auto control and ventilation was not good.

The hotel is very well situated, near the Grassmarket and. A good location and walking distance to most of Edinburghs attractions.

A parking problem that the hotel trys to solve with giving a discount at a near car park. But still expensive i feel.

It's a new hotel in a refurbished building with a modern decoration. The rooms are good and it has a nice bar.

The hotel has an agreement with one of the cities car parks, allowing for a 20% discount in the park fare. This is a good thing, but the park is still very expensive.
