Very warm welcome, well equiped comfortable room, extremely helpful host who was a mind of local information and who seemed genuine in wanting us to make the most of our stay. Went the extra mile and even offered to seek availability in local restaurants. Peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Quite simply the best place that I've ever stayed in. Kate was very welcoming. The hotel and room were nicely furnished, very clean and well maintained. The breakfast (which you specify the night before) was very nice. There was also free parking available right next to the guest house, which was fantastic.

They organised a taxi to take me to the Botanic Gardens for the course I was on. Looking forward to staying again. Maggie and Kate were superb. They were always helpful and informative, and were clearly proud of their business standards. the location is a 20-minute walk to the city, and close to Arthur's Seat. Breakfast was excellent. It's a very nice guest house. The location is good, and easy to find.Room is very clean and breakfast is delicious. Staff is really friendly. But like I said I did not request it online. A little bit too far outside the main city. No complaints at all. The single room has its private bathroom along a corridor so if you need to get up frequently in the night then this is not ideal. I didn't like to leave. Check-out time was a bit too early. Thought price was bit expensive. noise of main road - though bearable.
