The apartment is spacious, located within 1.5 km of the castle (about a
15 min walk uphill). It is on a quiet street on the 4th floor (5th flr
for Americans) with a view of the castle from the bedroom windows. The
bedrooms get morning sun and the living area/kitchen gets afternoon
sun. Wi-fi worked well. The kitchen was reasonably equipped. The
apartment was quite clean. It gets a great breeze with windows open.

We liked the builidng design, facilities, furnishings, kitchen and bathroom facilities and location. Handy for Princes Street, Usher Hall, theatres and cinemas, but quiet too. Shops and restaurants nearby. Secure basement parking on site. Comfortable beds. Nice views of castle to rear and canal basin from lounge. Communal lobby and lift were clean too.
Absolutely lovely apartment. Really well equipped. Good location. Very secure carpark. Very nice lady welcomed us.
The apartment was a good size and good value for money, with all the necessary mod cons.
A few more pots/pans, would have been helpful, as would some
utensils such as a cheese grater. There is a very small mirror in the
master bath and no mirror in the master bedroom. The bathtub glass panel
leaked a lot of water onto the floor when taking a shower. Faces building site which was quiet at weekend, but may be noisy for 2013.
The double bed should really be 5 ft in an apartment of this quality and the mattress was rock hard!.
