Jane was very welcoming and helpful and made me feel right at home. The room and shared bathroom were spotless (something that is rare in budget accommodations. The bedding and deco was really nice in the room. The breakfast was made to order and high quality. I would definitely stay again.

the kindness shown to my Mother of 93 and myself was excellent.The cleanleness of this hotel was the best I have ever had maybe cleaner than my own home.I would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting a small hotel. - The breakfasts were excellent! The owners were very helpful and attended to our request for non feather pillows promptly.

Everything - definitely the best hotel I have stayed in in terms of value for money. The owners really care about the hotel, and it shows in the details. Second visit and still spotlessly clean, warm, quiet & welcoming, we had the family room this time which is very homely environment with a large fresh bathroom (no fan as it has a window which makes it even more peaceful, which is a good thing during the night!). The owners were very helpful, friendly and chatty without being over the top. The choice for breakfast was outstanding with a constant 'would you like anything else'. Our room was lovely, stylish, spacious and quite. And there is plenty of on street parking! Would highly recommend.

We were all (including our 4 year old) made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The room was lovely and very clean. This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we would definitely like to return. - Exceptionally friendly and helpful owners, comfortable rooms, excellent food. Very good value.

The guesthous east is a very nice gesthouse in Eastbourne with only six rooms / appartments. The owners, Sarah and Carl made us a warm welcome and gave us a plenty of good informations for our days in and around eastbourne. Thanks a lot for that.
Good is also, that you have the possibility to use the kitchen included in the appartments e.g. for the breakfast (we used it because we did not want to throw away the frige content at home)...
