Stayed for 3 nights, great location for family event in Crawley. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. There was a pull down bed for my daughter. Beds were big and comfortable and I asked for a room at the rear incase there was noise from the road. We had no noise at all from outside, walls well soundproofed. However, when people are running up and down the hallway in the night, you can hear them!! I didn;t but my daughter did! Shower was fantastic, big and .
all reviews » We stayed here for a few hours before getting a 4am lift to Gatwick airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the shuttle bus service is excellent. £3 each way from the airport to the hotel. There is a very good restaurant at the nearby Premier Inn which is 5 mins walk away if you don't want to eat at the Ibis, we had very good steaks there. Proximity to airport and ease of getting shuttle bus (£3/trip between airport and hotel), hotel felt secure given that majority of folk staying were probably between flights... very comfortable bed, staff friendly and helpful, close to main road and my room overlooked road but certainly not a problem for me and air conditioning adequate. From the minute we walked in the receptionist was very nice, the food was delicious and fresh, the rooms were spotless, the bed was very comfortable, the room facilities were very good, and generally the hotel room were great. I recommend this hotel to any one. Couples, families etc. Loved this hotel a lot!. The design of bathroom is good, it likes a space capsule. the location of hotel is in the middle of gatwick airport and crawley, you can say it is an advantage if you have a car. The location is excellent for a quick overnight stay if travelling to Gatwick Airport. The room was clean and quiet and a reasonable price. The staff were polite and helpful. Food availability good and although we didn't have dinner looked reasonably priced. It was a one night stop over by Gatwick airport. It is so convenient to the airport. A little bit further from airport but worth the wait and an ideal spot as ease to the airport was cheap and easy to do. As a heater I think possibly very efficient but not the aircon which despite help from staff did not produce the required cold air [or any cold air!!] so had to sleep with the window open which was noisy due to busy road outside. Bar license was only until midnight which was when I arrived. Food was average (I ordered a pizza). Wifi was flat rate for 24 hours and I couldn't connect anyway. The shuttle doesn't run from 11 to 5pm, which is terrible. I've tried to take the local bus to go to the hotel, but took me 45 minutes waiting, since the frequency is not high. It was all excellent. choices on the menu not great but OK for one night hotel stopover for the airport. The fact that the shuttle bus to the airport was not free like they are in Toronto, Canada. Fact that breakfast was not included. Limited free TV. Shuttle, breakfast and extra TV all are additional costs. Everything was fine, believe me I would complain if needed. Being dropped by the Ibis navette well out side the airport limits and dragging our luggage off the main road over scruffy grass into an unmarked side entrance ! Bad Farewell to England. nothing. difficult to find especially when arriving late at nigjt and driving rental car. Nothing - it was fine. I could not critisise anything about the hotel but could have wished for some more ammenities nearer hand but we only stayed one night so it was bearable longer stay ?.
