The staff were excellent at the hotel. After being very confused and taken to the other Premier Inn where the staff did not have a clue how we could get to the other hotel as they said they did not have a shuttle the staff att he hotel I had booked difused the situation and granted us free shuttle service for the next day. I would stay there again without hesitation. My husband was admitted to hospital and we were unable to continue our holiday. The head housekeeper took me to the hospital and offered to pick me up. They were just fantastic. I was able to stay for a second night without any problem abnd as I was unsure when my husband would be out of hospital they were happy to keep the room open for me.all reviews »
It was surprisingly quiet and green for an airport hotel, the food was good quality and value, staff friendly, and the setting was attractive and full of wildlife. We were expecting a basic airport stopover, but we felt our holiday had already begun the hotel was so nice. really lovely old coaching inn serving great food and wine and very child friendly,only 10 paces from hotel.Staff could not do enough to help.Have stayed at hilton gatwick for years but would rather stay here for half the price!. Everything's premiere but price!!!!! It's true! Everything was excellent and the price was amaizingly cheap! and the staffs were kind :) there are a pick up service from airport at bus station no12 which costs 5 pounds. We stayed in a family room which had more than enough room for the 4 of us. The attached restaurant/bar was excellent and the service was superb. We will certainly stay there again prior to flying out of Gatwick. The staff were very helpfull and gave us a lot of information about going to and from Crawley and the airport. The food was amazing in the hotel. The grounds are lovely. I would gladly stay there again. The excellent on-site restaurant; the fact that there was plenty of seating in the grounds; the lovely staff; quiet location despite being so close to Gatwick Airport.Gatwick Airport South Premier Inn has the most comfortable huge bed i have ever stayed in and iv stayed in a few hotels and by far this was the best. Room ready for arrival. Childrens truckle beds made up unlike some hotels where you have to do it yourself when you get to the room.Nice Hotel staff, clean and comfortable place, close to the airport and the hotel has transportation to the airport - excellent. ease of getting to gatwick although we had a little trouble finding the hotel probably due to the fact we did not know the area. A great shame that a good visit was spoilt.Transportation by the hotel both for pick up (at 1:30 am) and return to the aorport was very efficiant and appreciated. The Gatwick Manor Pub is outstanding and one of the resons I stay at this hotel. The only downside was the two rooms we booked (one triple, one double, we have 3 children) were on different floors, but this was not a problem and both rooms were good.No food was serving as we arrived to late at the hotel but the staff supplied us with takeaway menu,s which was fine as we had a great chinese. Bit noisy at night but this was because there was a wedding reception going on at the restaurant next door.nothing with the hotel but the pub next door the food was diabolical. only critisicm was not well signposted on rd although the manor was. The noise from the rooms above and from people leaving early. As we had to catch our plane early in the morning and had to vacate the hotel at 7.00 am we were a bit disappointed that we couldn't get a breakfast delivered to our room prior to this.It was my own fault, because I failed to check if the previous guest had an alarm call set-up. They had, and I was awoken and startled at 0510 by the 'phone! Maybe a note in rooms could alert guests to check on alarm calls. food was not available and vending machines a bit useless. The price of the stay should include breakfast. difficult to find especially at night. The noiise from the evening entertainment from the room.Disturbed sleep. Problem with the airport shuttle pick up. Has to pay 11 pounds for taxi to get to the hotel.the sign on the street was extremely difficult to see at night when we arrived - we drove right by it.
