Recently refurbished so decor of a high standard, room of a good size, extremely comfortable and we were lucky enough to have a fantastic view over the river. Although we were told the hotel was full, there was very little noise to disturb us. Nice touches include hairdryer, iron and ironing board in room, always very useful.

There was a very friendly atmosphere. It is in a beautiful location, with the river running alongside the path.

I've stayed here a number of times and always had a great stay. The room I stayed in had been re-decorated, really comfy new bed and a flat screen tv. Fabulous!

We had a lovely stay, everything was perfect. We usually use an english chain (Premier inn), but we wanted for once something a bit more british and we were delighted.

20 min easy run from the NEC. Lovely characterful building with a contempory edge. Great food.

Bedroom smelt smokey. No hot water 2nd day. Otherwise water very hot and plentiful.

I was only there for less than 12 hours - the room was lovely- the staff were friendly

there were only 2 tea bags in the room - there was a smell in the loo - which might have been because of the height of the water nearby

There was a warm welcome as i entered the hotel reception area, the hotel has a realy nice place to eat and the prices are pretty resonable and you can also order your meal to the room with the room service available. The room was very nice, beds comfortable and the room was very clean

The Hotel was in a good quiet location, the rooms were excelent veryroomy and comfortable. We will be staying there again.

The tv aerial system in the room was not working properly and mostchanels were difficult or non existant.

I travel approximately 70 nights per year and I have NEVER had better value for money in the UK. The room was relatively spacious, luxurious and comfortable and I have plenty of experience of Hyatts and Ritz Carltons.

Excellent room.Well furnished.Evening meals of good standard and competitively priced.Staff friendly and efficient,apart from breakfast time.See below.

The whole breakfast experience on Sat morning was embarassing.The service was an absolute disgrace,the worst in my many years experience of staying in hotels such as premier lodge.In mitigation,I did complain and we were not charged,but it did detract from our enjoyment of the weekend.We did'nt go to breakfast the next day.

We still think that it would be good if the restaurant accepted table reservations for residents after 19.00 altho' this time we had no difficulty getting a table.

it was a short overnight stop so a pleaseant place to stay.

The food was a poor standard, rock hard porkchops and wrinkled vegetables. Not very appertising after a long journey.

Getting the TV to tune in to the chosen station was difficult and the picture quality on ITV1 was very poor and it kept freezing.

The rooms were great value for money - very large and ideal for a family! Nicely decorated and the whole hotel had a great atmosphere. Nicely located just off the M40 and easy to find.

The staff,though friendly enough, were extremely disorganised! In the mornign there was one person doing the cooking as well as manning reception!!! It was chaotic! Upon check-in we had to wait 25 minutes before anyone turned up at reception to check us in - this was a little annoying as it was 10.30pm and we ahd our 7 year old with us who was very tired!

The room was very comfortable and the staff were on the whole friendly and efficient. The food was nice but unfortunately due to high demand during the day they could only offer us a very limited menu for evening meals which was very disappointing as we had chosen what we wanted from the menu which was in our room.
