The staff were most obliging, friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was substantial, varied and tasty. It is great that there is parking adjacent to hotel. - ... what people say » Have stayed in a few Mercure hotels now, including Carcassonne and Cologne and cannot fault this chain of hotels. This is definately my favourite chain. As for the Holland House in Cardiff i was a fantastic experience, with great facilities and lovely rooms! 10 out of 10!

  Fantastic, well appointed accommodation. We were lucky enough to have a south-west facing apartment overlooking the river and enjoyed each evening with a bottle of wine on the balcony. Extremely clean, beautifully furnished and very quiet. Merchants Quay was about a 15 minute walk away, and the Town Centre a similar distance in the other directi... what people say » on. We are looking forward to our next break with Space in the City. We didn't get chance to enjoy the leisure facilities but they looked very good. - Cardiff is such a small city by square miles that really any location is a good location. Our apartment was a 5 minute walk to Mermaid Quay which is very family friendly yet also accommodates a young nightlife. We walked over their both nights and found many options to eat and drink at. Overall the apartment was in good condition and our contact person was very responsive to emails and phone calls.
