We were on a National Trust property tour and this was an ideal stop off point to visit three in that area. Very friendly helpful staff. Very pleasant chalet type rooms. Super food and beer! Also close to visit Cambridge.
Would stay at Jolly Brewers any time when in that vicinity.
Honestly I expected an average place for the price but it was better
than so called luxury places, nice bar, excellent food in the
restaurant, very nice staff who were very patience with our lively
two year old and of course the parents were left happy with the
excellent beer!. all reviews »

For our purposes the location was ideal. Together with the friendly pub atmosphere, great food, attentive staff, as well as the detached stable style bedrooms, it made for a excellent visit to the Cambridge area.

Good food, decent rooms and that the fact that this was a community
business venture that re-opened a pub that had gone bust.
Staff were superb, very friendly. Food in pub also very good, home made, hearty British food. Extremely clean, huge shower.
The accommodation was simple and very clean and offered everything we needed for a short stay. The food was fantastic.

Newly decorated, very clean room.
Nowhere to sit tin the room. Could do with a couple of chairs or a settee.
Coffee at breakfast was a pot of instant - nasty! Shame as breakfast was nice apart from that.
That we couldn't stay longer!.
I would like a security chain on the room doors as it is "courtyard" style accommodation across from the main building.

The room could be a little more spacious, but it was not a problem.
Nothing really: rooms are functional but quiet.

No proper ventilation in the room so a little stuffy in summer.
ridiculously small wash basin in bathroom.
Instant coffee at breakfast table.
spacious parking space, nice restaurant and great food. Friendly staff.
As it didn't include breakfast, price was rather high. Green "Exit" sign in our room was very bright overnight. Tricky to get into centre of Cambridge from this hotel.
Definately not 3 star!.
