Standard for a true five-star hotel, with an excellent value for money. Professional and efficient reception staff, ceck inn fast, excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail. Spacious rooms equipped with all comforts, modern decor, impeccable cleanliness (difficult for the hotels in London) ideal location, 10 minutes from the airport, and 40 from London, surrounded by nature, the quality of the optimal sleep and London can be reached with an excellent limousine service at great price.
all reviews » The hotel was excellent, I had dinner in the restaurant which was brill, and breakfast was great too. The room was very elegant, and provided all the extras. The location of the hotel is brilliant, it took us around 30 minutes to get right into the center of London (oxford circus) so it was nice to relax and get away from the business when we came back to the hotel. The room was lovely, great facilities and the little perks such as a TV in the shower made it all the more fun! The location is great and would have loved to enjoyed one of the hotels organised picnics. The staff have some really rude guests and are spoken to very inpolitely but I witnessed that all staff responded as best they could, and helped in anyway. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't help us enough. The room was superb (TV in the shower!) and the spa facilities were exactly what we wanted, with a full gym, pool and hot tub / sauna / steam room. Weather wasn't great when we were there, but if it was sunny the grounds and gardens would have been nice to enjoy too. Grand hotel set in tranquil gardens with lake walks through Syon park. Just near enough to the city to commute but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. Very enjoyable stay: sunbathing on the terrace; curled up for a read on a comfy sofa in the courtyard; swimming in the indoor pool and relaxing in the jacuzzi. This hotel has something for everyone! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the pool was very relaxing. We used the hotel as we were attending a concert at Twickenham Stadium and it wasn't too far to walk home at night. Perfect for weddings and romantic breaks but also families. The design of the furniture/fittings. First impression - no high check in desk - a welcoming sit down and conversation with a very helpful receptionist. The overall impression of the dining room was excellent - the roof is a little lower than usual but not claustrophobic. We were attending a wedding at the Syon Park and through letsbookhotel.com we got an excellent deal to stay there not only for the wedding but an extra few days, making our long weekend extra special. I will most definitely use letsbookhotel.com again and again. Thank you. We arrived early and tired, the room was ready so we were able to relax immediately. All of the staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable, location great for a restful weekend and we enjoyed the spa. The breakfast was very good and we will be back. The facilities were excellent and we had a very comfortable stay. Lovely country feel for a Hotel that is close to London. Access to Syon House Garden is available using your room key card and the River Thames and Grand Union Canal are both close by. The staff are always extremely helpful and the hotel cleanliness is exceptional. Beds very comfy, shower & baths are some of the best you will see. One of the best hotels in London within this price range. Only a tube ride into central London. The setting was amazing. We came down to have a few days in central london but ended up staying in and around the hotel most of the time as it was such a relaxing and peaceful place to be. Room was absolutley amazing huge king size bed and a massive bathroom with a tv in the bath. The hotel was very good in terms of facilities, staff, and the breakfast. It is under the Heathrow flight path, but this isn't an issue, as the glass on the windows is quite sound-absorbing. Very comfortable. There's even a TV in the bathroom!!. The secret gardens were the highlight of our stay, the swimming pool one of the best and free bicycles were great for exploring local area. I was also pleasantly surprised at the immediacy in which a booking discrepancy was dealt with. The luxurious rooms, the tv in the shower was a first for me, the parks. Could not find anything to dislike. The staff attitude was just so - helpful but not "hovering" If I had a dislike it would be getting to the hotel by public transport. Nothing. The walking entrance to the hotel is not very well signed or lit up at night. The pathway after 17:30 is down a back alley which doesn't feel very safe and is not very good for a hotel such as Hilton. Difficult to find as letsbookhotel.com gave me wrong postcode. Postcode hotel gave me didnt take me to hotel either. The location is difficult to find using a gps, as it directs you to take a pedestrian laneway from London Road, whereas the vehicle entry is via Park Road. The business lounge seemed to be booked for our entire stay for a conference, and the wifi access was weak in our room. The other negative is that the pedestrian gate from London Road closes at 7:30pm, adding 10 minutes to the walk from Syon Lane Station. I would advice to see the room prior as some are better than others. The hotel was very quiet so there shouldn't be a problem in changing rooms or even being upgraded. You definitely need transport to make your way out of the Hotel. Junior suite had no opening windows or balcony/terrace. The cost of dinner was a little surprising and we therefore we chose to eat out rather than stay in the hotel restaurant. Lack of signage, postcode given and used with sat nav took me to a cul de sac of a block of flats. Please define the location better and check postcode. Produce more informative map. Although the staff very excellent in the restaurant the service was a tad unorganised and slow on food preparation. However food was to a good standard when arrived. Very isolated. Far from restaurants and stores. The prices of drinks at the bar were a tad expensive. The fried breakfast could have been a touch warmer and the plates could have been warmed too. Cold plates for breakfast buffet. Nothing. Reception staff were very reserved; a more guest friendly attitude would be good!. There isn't a thing. Nothing. The good was quite expensive for what it was. I wasn't aware a lead was needed for an iPod connection and so didn't bring one. May be this could either be provided or made clearer. Also, we had to wash our wine glasses before using them as they were very marked. The baby crib was not cushioned at all and my baby could not sleep in it. The hotel promised to provide 'amenities' to make my husband's birthday special but it seemed they forgot. But overall I'd say it was not exactly as fantastic as I expected. Maybe because I have very high expectations having stayed in many hotels. But I think the restaurant can be better. Pool and spa area was a bit dated. Was charged for the mini bar wen did not use was told room woud have a bath and did not. The meal in the restaurant was really lovely but the drinks took ages and the staff wre a little over keen to take our order. Wi Fi charges. The food was disgusting!!! And the night staff and the 24hr room service staff were unhelpful and unapologetic. Nothing. I did not have a bath in my bedroom only a shower, and that you had to pay for the Internet,. The fact you have a minibar in your room is not the best idea can get costly., also the tv in the shower didn't work not that I was overly bothered and the shower wouldn't stop dripping all night . Nothing. Nothing really, if I were really critical, bathroom could have been a little cleaner and plane noise a little irritating but so near to london can't be helped. The inconsistencies: opulence and details were great, but then other things surprisingly poor - only shower gel etc for one person, very little tea, coffee and milk (and high quality tea; low quality coffee!). Breakfast table not properly set, cold food, slow to replenish.... There were stains all over the tiles in the bathroom and the flowers in the basket on the balcony were all dead. Not what you'd expect from a high callibre hotel.
