I love the style of the hotel. The lobby was fantastic. Very welcoming. The fish tanks by tye lifts on every floor were amazing. Having an ice dispenser and a shoe shine machinewas a real bonus. The room was cosy (we had trouble waking up for breakfast...ha ha) it was wonderful and very convenient having not only a health salon and a swimming pool at the hotel, but also a bar which had live music, but also a night club too. The dining lounge was exquisite. It was very easy to have breakfast als.
all reviews » When checking in, the ladies on reception were very curteous and efficient, even helping me with my luggage all the way up to my room. The room was a generous size with a comfy bed. The leisure centre was just what I needed with a gym/cardio centre and also a pool, sauna, steam room and jaccuzzi. The gym was quite busy but there was enough equipment for all. Breakfast was lovely and included in the billl. The evening meal was a little expensive for what it was but as a hotel restaurant I wa. The hotel looked like a hotel you would find in the Swiss alps, the staff were very attentive, food was of superior quality and very family friendly with children menu. Fantastic large family room with sitting area with a T.v in both rooms to my children's delight added luxuries ie dressing gowns, variety of tea/ coffee facilities & iron and ironing board, plus a balcony leading from both rooms. Good price for the room you get. Restaurant and breakfast are good, staff are all very friendly and helpful too. Carpark is more than adequate for the hotel so there's no worry about finding a space. The gym, and downstairs bar/nightclub are good if you like that kind of thing!. Size of the room.....bar food/lounge facilities....24 hour desk staff....very accomodating and helpful staff in ALL departments....relaxing and low key atmoshpere throughout the hotel.....car parking...excellent value for money....will return.........!!!!!!!!. Balcony in room with nice views - able to get lots of fresh air! All facilities available - hairdryer, ironing stuff, kettle etc and good sized corridors and excellent decor - fish spectacle on ech floor was a nice touch. staff are professional in all areas of the hotel. I love the breakfast, lots of choice and all amazing quality especially the figs. nothing is oily either. Its relaxing, easy to park and a great nights stay in comfort. The staff on reception were efficient and friendly. Our room was upgraded to a suite! Super! The breakfast was excellent and the location of the hotel was excellent a short distance to Windsor. Decor & impressive reception area, the amazing fish tank feature on each floor, nice spacious rooms & to have bar & club in site a bonus, live the Swiss chalet look from outside too. Location to Bracknell is excellent. The Staff were very friendly and informative. Breakfast was excellent and the bedroom/bathroom was very clean. An excellent hotel with very good facilities. Very nice clean family room with lots of space and facilities including fridge, Iron, 2 televions and free internet. Breakfast was very good and even provided vegeterian sausages on request. Thanks to the staff I was able to check in early. I was informed that I couldn't check in until 3 p.m. but then noticed that others were able to check in. Otherwise an excellent stay. The best bit of the stay was a lovely member of staff who worked the bar on a night shift he was an absolute diamond and made the rest of our eve a lovely one his name was Steve :). Biggest let down was the spa facilities. The pool desperately needs a totally refurbishment - tiles inside the pool and outside the pool are awful, surprised they can continue to allow public use. The changing rooms not much better. Hotel is nearly 25 years old and it's starting to show, especially in the bathrooms. I've stayed in this hotel half a dozen times per year for the last 2-3 years, and most of the rooms are showing signs of ageing. Nightclub on the premises.....selling rooms that you know will be affected by noise from the club..(see on-line customer reveiws..letsbookhotel.com etc). Nothing not to like. the spa facilities are dated, but the pool is good temperature and easy for swim and relax. Although we were upgraded the room was in need of a refurb, however it was clean and we were only staying one night. No complaints at all. Pool side and changing rooms were in need of major renovation as the floor tiles and showers were worn and damaged. The childrens folding beds were not suitable or comfortable for older children. Late checking in time. The manager Roberto G I made a complaint about something and he was really not helpful in sorting it out, he asked me to sit and wait and he never came back to me with a solution. No real dislikes. Nothing. we found the noise from other guests rooms and corridors were very intrusive plus children were playing by running up and down. The water did not flow away quickly enough in the bath. this also seemed to be a problem in other rooms. Perhaps a bit of an update to some of the facilities, i.e. the pool area - some general entertainment in the lounge bar on an evening (where children can sit). Prices a bit high in restaurant. Having to queue for breakfast on sunday morning. Nothing. Not enough tea bags provided in room!. I was very disappointed with waves. The pool area was very tired and needs a lot of work. The hotel was a bit dated. It can get very busy at breakfast time. Not a lot to dislike - bathroom a bit dated. Nothing. The fixtures and fittings are all looking a little tired. Nothing!. Most expensive room due to being 30 minutes from the airport. Very disappointed that have to pay to enter into Keller and club as a resident. Have stayed many times over the years and didn't have to before. Do not feel this is fair as a paying resident. Breakfast times should be extended to 10am. dated decor, steam room out of order, no shower in pool area,. No dislikes. Bathroom ceiling in our room was in need of painting it looked a bit knocked about , and i thought when i booked that i was getting a Queen side bed , which was disapointing !!. Room and bathroom while comfortable need updating. Kellar bar food could be better. Swimming pool and changing rooms could do with a makeover. Hotel is a bit dated, beds were only double's so a little small. None. The pool area could do with a bit of a facelift. The food in the Bier Keller was a bit dry and "pre-pared" tasting. Heating not able to control heat poor lighting in bedroom Jacuzzi and steam room out of order.
